Pregnancy After TransplantLabor and DeliveryAlthough the choice between vaginal delivery and Caesarean section should be made on the health status of both mother and child, vaginal delivery is typically recommended in most women transplant recipients due to the risk of infection associated with surgical procedures. Caesarean section should be performed only for standard obstetric reasons. The United Network for Organ Sharing is committed to providing accurate and reliable information for transplant patients.
